Joining Troop 144
We are one of the oldest and most established troops in Cobb County, having been active at Marietta First Baptist since 1941. We are blessed with a large number of active, well-trained, eager adult leaders for your son, and the Scouting program is high on their priority list. We are sponsored by the First Baptist Church of Marietta, which believes in Scouting.
You are joining one of the most worthwhile and challenging youth organizations in the world – Boy Scouts of America. The formula is simple: have fun camping, hiking, and learning about a wide variety of subjects. The result is a mature, responsible, and self-confident young man.
